FAQS

How do I connect my broker or exchange to TraderWaves?

Open the connection guide for your platform on this page and follow the steps. Each guide explains credentials, API settings, or OAuth—whichever applies—so your trades can sync into TraderWaves.

Are connections secure?

We use secure connection flows where supported, including OAuth and read-only API access when the platform allows it. Follow each guide’s permission recommendations and never share your credentials outside TraderWaves.

Does TraderWaves place trades on my behalf?

No, TraderWaves does not place trades on your behalf. It is built for journaling, analytics, and performance tracking—not for executing trades on your account unless a specific product feature explicitly says otherwise.

Can I connect more than one account?

Yes. Many traders connect multiple accounts across platforms. Availability depends on your plan and the integration; add accounts from the app as each connection guide describes.

What if my broker is not supported yet?

We’re expanding integrations over time. Check the supported platforms page for the latest list, use manual journaling or CSV import where available, or contact us to request an integration.

Can I still use TraderWaves without an integration?

Yes. You can journal manually or import trades where those options exist, then use analytics and dashboards on the data you bring in.
